Global Sponsorship - Europe
Globally, PrivateInvest is proud to be the Founding Principal Partner of Amsterdam Flames, backing the club from Season One, its first season and the first season of the European T20 Premier League (ETPL): a new ICC-sanctioned T20 league bringing together six city franchises across Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands, delivered with Cricket Ireland, Cricket Scotland and the Royal Dutch Cricket Association (KNCB). Season One runs from 26 August to 20 September 2026.
Amsterdam Flames was founded by three Australians: Steve Waugh AO, World Cup winning Australian captain and the club’s Co-founder, Franchise Ambassador and Chief Cricket Officer; Tim Thomas, Founder and Chief Executive; and Jamie Dwyer OAM, Olympic gold medallist and five-times world hockey player of the year, Co-founder, Chief Operating Officer and Tournament Director.
The ETPL marks a major step in growing the game across Europe, bringing world-class talent to a region Steve Waugh has called “the last frontier of cricket.”
As Founding Principal Partner, PrivateInvest is backing an ambitious, well-led venture with long-term growth potential from day one. It is the firm’s first sponsorship in European sport, extending our support for the game beyond Australian shores and aligning our brand with a competition built on the same values of ambition, discipline and teamwork that define our business.

Closer to home, PrivateInvest is proud to sponsor Subiaco Floreat Cricket Club, one of the powerhouse clubs of WA Premier Cricket. Based at Floreat Park, the club fields teams across the men’s and women’s grades and has built a reputation for developing talent that goes on to represent Western Australia at state and national level.
Subiaco Floreat’s women’s side is the back-to-back WA Premier Cricket A-grade champion, while the men’s first grade side has been a consistent contender for the WACA Grand Final in recent seasons.

Artificial Intelligence
Platform Partner
PrivateInvest holds its artificial intelligence capability in-house rather than relying on public tools. TechXcel, an Australian AI consultancy, was engaged to build that capability with the team and has supported it since 2025.
Private credit rests on judgement, documentation and defensibility. Those standards are PrivateInvest’s own, held by its credit team. Applied AI supports the institutional capability behind them, working within the team rather than supplying a tool to it.
In practice, credit assessments follow a single documented structure, prepared to a consistent standard, with senior judgement directed to the borrower, the security and the exit.
Governance and boundaries
- PrivateInvest owns its data and its documents. Information is held in Australia and is not used to train external AI models.
- No credit decision is automated. Every lending decision remains with PrivateInvest's credit committee, and every output is subject to human review and sign-off.
- TechXcel works alongside iQuest, the Perth managed service provider of some twenty years standing that supports PrivateInvest's wider technology environment, so capability and the environment it runs in sit with one accountable chain.
